Nelnet Sponsors Nebraska Alumni Association's Breakfast for Champions Event on May 11

Lincoln, Neb, May 9, 2007-Nelnet announced today the Nelnet Foundation will sponsor the Nebraska Alumni Association's ninth annual Breakfast for Champions event on Friday, May 11. Nelnet, a leading education planning and financing company, appreciates and supports the goals of the Breakfast for Champions program-to duly recognize deserving students and encourage their continued achievements and good character while serving as role models for others.

Jeff Noordhoek, President of Nelnet, will address this year's honorees at the Bob Devaney Sports Center at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Each of the eighth grade students from the state of Nebraska will be recognized for academic scholarship, leadership and community service. The students were selected by their school principal.
