Bryan, Tex., October 11, 2006 – LoanSTAR, a Nelnet company, is pleased to announce that it has created a Texas Lender Partner Focus Group to enhance communication among student loan providers and maximize the postsecondary experience of education-seeking students and families in the state. Richard T. Hendee is leading the group.
"The focus group will be an effective way for LoanSTAR to provide lender partners with industry information and updates, as well as enhancements to products, services and systems," said Hendee. "We believe the group will serve as a valuable tool for gathering feedback from our lender partners regarding LoanSTAR’s delivery of service to lenders and the customers that together we serve. Acting upon their feedback will facilitate LoanSTAR’s commitment to, and continual improvement of, its technologies, processes and products."
LoanSTAR’s Texas Lender Focus Group will operate through a series of formal meetings and routine conference calls. The group is composed of 14 financial institutions, each invited by LoanSTAR to serve a one-year term.
