Nelnet Business Solutions announces Higher Education leadership team

(Lincoln, Neb.) – Today, Nelnet’s Business Solutions department announced key appointments to its Higher Education leadership team. The appointments were made to support the unit’s commitment to current and future customer needs within the higher education market.

Bob Gentile has been named as the new Executive Vice President of Sales. Gentile has been with FACTS Management for nearly 15 years and served as Senior Vice President for the FACTS college division. In his new role, he will be responsible for delivering Nelnet Business Solutions products and services to the higher education market and will have oversight of the unit’s sales team.

Ron King has been named Executive Vice President of Business Development. In this capacity, King will be responsible for partnerships, proposals, sales to education finance companies, and new product initiatives. He’s served infiNET as National Sales Manager for more than four years.

Joanna Levine has been named as the Director of Customer Relationship Management. In this capacity, Levine will manage the team of individuals who are primarily responsible for product cross-selling, contract renewals, and customer relationships. She has held this position with infiNET for over two years.

Alyssa Kattner has been named as the unit’s Marketing Manager. In this capacity, Kattner will be responsible for all promotion and public relations for the group. She has served with infiNET for more than six years.

Nelnet Business Solutions is a newly created department within Nelnet Education Services. Key components of the department include tuition payment plans offered through FACTS Management and e-commerce solutions from infiNET. In addition, Nelnet’s College Planning and Enrollment Management services will be available to institutions through the Nelnet Business Solutions channel.
